Cohabitation

More people than ever are cohabitating rather than marrying. Many people think that they have protection as a Common Law Spouse, this is not the case.

It is important to consider a 'living together agreement'/Cohabitation Agreement at the outset, and in the event of the breakdown of a relationship, we can advise on what claims you may have in respect of property and child support. We can assist in negotiating a settlement, and if this is not possible, we will pursue a claim through the Courts if appropriate.
