Resolving disputes can be both expensive and stressful.

We aim to try to reduce both the cost and the stress by assisting our clients in analysing the options available to them at the earliest possible stage and providing a risk assessment on the likely chances of success.

Where appropriate we engage specialist assistance (usually counsel) at a very early stage so that our clients have the best possible advice at the outset. By employing counsel we are able to reduce the costs and place the work with an expert with the appropriate skills, qualifications and experience for the work in hand. By applying strict risk management practices to the litigation process we endeavour to limit our clients’ costs as far as we are able to.

In addition to litigation, we can provide access to arbitration as well as alternative dispute resolution including mediation.

Our practice does not extend to criminal litigation, but we are able to take on civil claims in any area.
